Rules Adopted That Govern Play by the Hoobies (The most recent will be at the top of the list, listed by date of adoption. Full explanation would be found in the Minutes) 08 March 2007: 1. An Initiation Fee of $25.00 in addition to the Annual Dues of $25.00. 2. Odd Number of Players will not be adjusted by "Blind Draw" or other means. Minimum bet rule still applies so that a threesome playing against a foursome would put up $3 team bet to win $4 team bet (on days with a $1 minimum); $6 team bet vs. $8 team bet on days with a $2 minimum. The same procedure applies to a foursome playing against a five man team.. 3. Beginning 15 April 2007, winter rules will end and we will be playing the ball down from tee to green. 4. Change in Tees will be on 15 April 2007 should one wish to move from the tee currently being played. Adjustments to scores will be made at the time of tee change. Contact David Twiford to initiate tee changes. 5. Items under consideration or that require By-Law changes: A. Require all voting members of the Hoobies also be members in good standing of the Pines (unless residing outside specified geographical boundaries.) B. 60 member "cap" to membership in Hoobies with consideration to long standing members unable to meet "frequency of play" rules and with BOD having authority to waive cap in certain circumstances.
